HIGH SPEED CYLINDER BUR Size # 16 - Diameter 4.0mm Shank Diameter 3/32" High Speed Steel Cylinder Burs are made with superior quality “M2″ High Speed Steel and will last longer than Tungsten, Vanadium, or Carbon Steel Burs. The flutes are spiral cut to increases performance, retain sharpness and reduce loading. Cylinder Burs can be used like a flat file. They can remove large amounts of material quickly. Large cylinder burs are useful for grinding the insides of ring shanks to increase their size. Burs are commonly used when working with carving wax ring tube wax models. Burs have a 3/32" / 2.35mm shanks which are the jeweler's preferred standard for burs and small rotary tools. They fit the adjustable chucks found on most flex shaft handpieces as well as 3/32" handpiece collets.
